Recognising growing demand within the bathroom sector, Spa-Jet soon expanded its product offering to include shower trays. Originally manufacturing traditional gelcoat models, the company later invested significantly in advanced production technology to manufacture acrylic-capped ABS shower trays, widely recognised as one of the highest-quality construction methods available for strength, durability, and long-term performance.
Over the decades, Spa-Jet has become one of Ireland’s leading shower tray manufacturers, while also achieving considerable success across mainland UK through the supply of own-brand products for well-known bathroom brands. This extensive manufacturing expertise, combined with an unwavering commitment to innovation and quality, has positioned the company as a trusted name within the industry.
Since 2016, the company has been led by Richard McKay, continuing the family legacy established by his parents. Supported by a skilled and dedicated team of experienced craftspeople, Spa-Jet has continued to grow, evolve, and invest in product development.
In 2024, drawing on more than 35 years of industry knowledge and manufacturing expertise, the team set out with a clear vision: to create a new generation of shower trays that combined every lesson learned, every innovation developed, and every feature that customers’ truly value. The result was Vision 30 — a premium range of shower trays designed to deliver exceptional quality, contemporary design, innovative features, and superior performance, all at outstanding value for money.
